HOW WELL EDUCATED IS TODAY'S DOCTOR OF CHIROPRACTIC?
Have you ever wondered just how much education your Doctor of Chiropractic is required to have compared to a doctor of medicine? The facts may surprise you.
Look at these educational requirements for graduates of both chiropractic graduate and medical graduate schools. Each has their own specialties. But the hours are about the same.
Today's Doctor of Chiropractic must complete many years of pre-medical college and four more years of highly specialized graduate school training to graduate and earn licensure. They must meet these stringent educational requirements, plus complete over 900 hours of internship. This qualifies them for licensure in all 50 states and Canada.
They must pass basic national science board exams (the same that is given to medical graduates), and must also pass a rigid chiropractic state board exam to obtain state licensure.
Continuing educational seminars must also be completed for annual license renewal.
Chiropractic has gained recognition as a thouroughly comprehensive, scientifically sound force among the healing arts.
Today, chiropractic is the largest and fastest growing drugless healing art.
Only chiropractic concerns itself with the interrelationship of structure and body functions, and only chiropractic effectively utilizes natural, drugless methods of treatmemt - primarily spinal adjustments.
